Global Clinical Services
AGHPF’s Global Clinical Services (GCS) division provides technical assistance to diagnostic and research laboratories (both private and public) in quality management systems, accreditation preparedness and training and clinical management seminars toward the goal of achieving accreditation in international standards i.e. ISO 15189, ISO 17025, CAP, COLA, etc.
Technical Assistance in Laboratory Accreditation -TALA
As the demand for quality healthcare increases, clinical diagnostics cannot be undermined. With the use of already proven methodologies and tools to identify gaps in laboratory systems, the Foundation provides technical assistance and performance reviews for Laboratories.
Laboratory Management -LAMAN
We offer seminars to ease the working relationship of both clinical and non clinical managers depending on the level of the facility i.e. national reference, provincial or district facility. Most laboratories are managed directly by clinical personnel however, they occasionally have to interact with other managers and staff without a clinical background. This usually creates bottlenecks in supply chain and introduces logistical nightmares.
Laboratory Safety (LASA)
Our laboratory Safety program ensures that all OSHA, IATA, JACHO and security regulations are ad heard to thus providing a safe working facility.
TB Smear Microscopy (TBSM)
The Foundation organizes trainings in TB smear microscopy. This training is geared to all levels of laboratory technicians and personnel needing CPD credits.
“R U +VE” (Are you positive) Campaign
The Foundation has been in the forefront of HIV screening, providing thousands of free rapid HIV-1 and HIV-2 tests every year while working with local authorities to refer positive clients to treatment and care programs.
